Are you a technical minded problem solver? Do you thrive on working with customers face-to-face, translating technical know-how into real business value? If so, this is your chance to join a growing, ambitious team as a Sales Engineer, where you will combine your technical expertise with commercial drive.

Role Overview

This is a field sales function within one NSC with the responsibility to develop existing and new customers and accounts to achieve the business plan for our Air to Air Heating and Cooling Solutions area.

How you will become part of the bigger picture..
  • Identifying and visiting target consultants, architects, main contactors and installers in order to identify projects. Supporting consultants and the installers on designing the projects with Panasonic solutions.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal and external partners.
  • The follow up of projects on Salesforce, and the project pipeline on a regular basis.
  • Supporting the installers and consultants with trainings regarding the products and software for the responsible product category.
  • Providing feedback of the market information to the Product Managers, reflect this information into personal strategy/tactics review and the future product development. Suggest appropriate measures to achieve the strategic company goals.
  • Identifying and building strong relationships with specifiers, design offices, and installers in order to increase the project business.
  • Coordinating regularly with relevant internal partners to follow up project installations from product sales to its commissioning, in order to minimise risk of installation problems and taking appropriate preventive measures to better ensure the success of customer service.
  • Ensuring appropriate documentation of the project pipeline and project progress in the relevant systems.

Experience, Knowledge and skills:
  • Proficient understanding and know how in processes, technologies, products or other relevant field of expertise
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role
  • Effective utilisation of recognised planning, analytical or conceptual principles and techniques
  • Good understanding and impact of legislation and law regulations relevant to the business or function
  • Very strong communication and negotiation skills

What we offer:
Salary range: (dependent on experience)
Annual Bonus scheme
Annual Leave: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 27 days on completion of 3 years of service)
