We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Developer to join our New Business Field Sales team at Bunzl McLaughlin covering the Ulster region.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to develop into a professional sales role. It will allow them to grow and develop a sales area within a thriving business.

Sales experience within the HoReCa and Foodservice industry or internal sales would be advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Maximise sales and margin in the specifically assigned territory
  • Growing sales and market share with Exclusive and own brand product at the forefront of every sale
  • Populating customer management information on Salesforce
  • Key lead in managing customer relationships
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and fill any gaps by identifying cross selling opportunities
  • Maintain Territory by creating journey plans to ensure time is best utilised
  • Promoting exclusive lines, Bunzl Advantage and weekly delivery within schedule
  • Co-ordinate customer contracts and margins
  • Providing quotations identifying profitable growth opportunities
  • Handling customer issues and queries including any credit notes
  • Responsible for the successful sales growth in line with the Company's objective, overall business plans, and strategies
  • Conducting monthly reviews of the relevant customer pipeline activity
  • Expected to be knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
Skills and Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience within the HoReCa and Foodservice industry internally or in the field
  • Highly organised and has strong effective time management skills
  • Highly competent and computer literate with all Microsoft Office system
  • Experience required with utilising sales database tracking programs preferably Salesforce
  • Strong negotiating skills and capacity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Equally strong listening skills
  • Highly customer focused
  • Highly efficient
  • Ability to set policies, but remain flexible when customer conditions require
