Job summary

CPL Healthcare is seeking a Safeguarding Manager for a not-for-profit organization in Dublin. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong qualifications and experience in social work, safeguarding, and compliance. This hybrid role requires at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and entails ensuring the safety of vulnerable populations while developing effective safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in a safeguarding or child protection role.
  • Experience dealing with safeguarding allegations, complaints, and investigations.
  • Mid/senior management experience and understanding of GDPR.

Job description

CPL Healthcareis delighted to announce, we are now accepting CVs from experienced professionals for the role ofSafeguarding Managerfor a not-for-profit international voluntary organisation based in Dublin.The Safeguarding Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults and children who receive services from the charity.

The perfect candidate will have:

• An approved qualification in Social Work at NFQ Level 8 or Higher and registered with (or eligible to register) with CORU.

OR

• A recognised qualification in Social Care, Child Care, Nursing or Youth Work;

OR

• A recognised postgraduate qualification in Safeguarding, child protection and welfare, safeguarding vulnerable adults. * Other appropriate education and or experience relevant to the role will be considered

AND

At least 5 years of experience of working in or within a similar role with Safeguarding and Child Protection Responsibilities.

At least 5 years’ experience dealing with safeguarding allegations, complaints, serious incidents and investigations.

Experience of working at a mid/senior management level a requirement.

Previous experience within the Data Protection compliance field, able to demonstrate strong understanding of GDPR and associated legislation.

• Developing policy, procedure and work processes.

Please note that this position is a Hybrid role based in Dublin, but travel would be required.

The hours would be Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30 – 37.5 hours per week.
