A leading award-winning Food Retail group that has just expanded and has a strong presence of Retail stores around Cork, has a Store Manager job available.

We are looking for an able, reliable retail manager who is passionate about standards, fresh foods, and achieving store growth.

This retail client is a highly progressive and well known retail group who have won numerous national retail awards and retailer managers who have come and gone in the business, have been given a great opportunity to raise their management profile.

Store Manager salary will vary DOE 40,000 -45,000 + bonus

Full flexibility is required but typically early shifts, rotational weekends on and off.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the site runs efficiently and smoothly.
• Ensuring the store reaches maximum profitability and achieves other financial objectives
• Ensuring your team demonstrates excellent standards in merchandising, customer service, and hygiene that reflect's well on the group's reputation
• Managing all HR, H&S related queries, ensuring your retail shop is compliant with all these matters.

Requirements

• Must be a proven and experienced retail grocery store manager or assistant manager in a similar retail food environment who is ready to step up.
• Excellent organisation and leadership skills are a must, and one must possess the ability to lead and motivate teams under them, such as deli charge hands, Assistant Managers, and Supervisors and other senior staff.
• Commercially astute, looking for opportunities to increase revenue by knowing the retail landscape, and managing costs effectively, and using your supplier network to your advantage.
• Working knowledge of Labour Law, Health & Safety regulations, HACCP, and Consumer Law
