ESB is taking urgent and focused action to achieve net zero emissions by 2040 and still ensure that power is affordable. You will join an experienced Regulation team that is at the center of many of the challenges and projects in our generation business.
As we operate across jurisdictions you will have the opportunity to develop subject matter expertise in a wide variety of topics across the Single Electricity Market (SEM) of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the GB energy market.
This position will be based in our newstate of the art Fitzwilliam 27 office in Dublin, as the primary in-person location for collaboration and connecting with colleagues. In person meetings will be a feature of the role, which may also involve overseas travel occasionally (e.g. Brussels/Dublin/London).
ESB is committed to smart working – combining digital tools with a culture of trust and empowerment to enable flexible ways of working. The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least two anchor day per week. All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.
