Senior Quality Engineer / Quality Manager - Manufacturing (Wexford)

A leading steel manufacturing company in Wexford is seeking an experienced quality professional to lead and evolve its site-wide quality systems.

This is a key role offering full ownership of the QMS and the opportunity to influence compliance, process improvement and audit readiness at a strategic level.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the site's Quality Management System (QMS) aligned to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
• Manage internal and supplier audits, including non-conformance follow-up and corrective action plans.
• Own and lead CAPA, risk assessments, and document control processes across the site.
• Liaise with operations, engineering, and supply chain to support quality at every stage of the process.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation and compliance metrics for review.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and quality engineering projects.
• Represent the company during external audits and inspections.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years' experience in quality, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Proven experience managing or leading quality systems at site level.
• In-depth understanding of ISO 9001 and experience with ISO 14001 and 45001.
• Strong background in audits, CAPA, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing cross-functionally.
