Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee all quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities across projects
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, procedures, and documentation in line with industry standards and client requirements
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of work, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to ensure quality requirements are met at all project stages
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site teams on quality procedures and best practices
  • Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and material certifications
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors on quality-related matters
  • Train and mentor staff to promote a culture of quality awareness and accountability
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to management and stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in engineering, quality management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a QA/QC or quality management role within mechanical, construction, or industrial projects
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME, EN, etc.) and industry regulations
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing quality systems and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to influence and guide teams
  • Safe Pass and relevant site safety certifications
  • Proficient in documentation, reporting, and use of digital quality management tools
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of compliance and accuracy
