Job description

My client is a well-established high-tech Manufacturer based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare and is seeking to hire to a QA Team Leader to join their team. This position plays a key role in ensuring their products meet high standards and reach consumers with quality and consistency. As the QA Team Leader, you will lead a team of QA Analysts and collaborate cross-functionally to drive quality improvements, manage inspections, and support compliance and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support QA Analysts across operations.
  • Oversee QA inspections and ensure quality records are maintained.
  • Investigate quality issues and customer complaints, ensuring effective root cause analysis and CAPAs.
  • Review and manage non-conforming material.
  • Support internal audits (ISO 9001:2015) and site quality health assessments.
  • Develop and implement training, documentation, and risk-based quality plans.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and quality metrics reporting.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years’ experience leading a team in a manufacturing or QA setting.
  • 3–4 years’ experience in QA systems and processes.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using quality tools (e.g. 6W2H, UPS) and root cause analysis methods.
  • Experience with ISO:9001 and data integrity principles.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
  • Analytical thinking with a systematic work approach.
  • IT proficiency and excellent interpersonal skills.
