A leading mental health services provider in Leinster is looking for an Entry-level Psychologist to join its well-established team. This role involves providing psychological services to children aged 0-18 years and their families. Successful candidates will have a degree in Psychology and relevant post-graduate qualifications. Opportunities for professional development and continuous supervision are provided in a supportive environment.
The Psychologist will join the well-established psychology department in CDNT 5 and work as a member of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with MDT colleagues providing services to children from 0-18 years and families who are accessing the Children's Disability Network Team.
Applications are invited for the above position. Part Time Options may be considered. A panel will be formed from which other permanent or temporary posts may be filled.
The Psychologist will provide a range of psychological services as required in partnership with families and other members of the team, including assessment, diagnostics, programme implementation and behavior management. Running parent training courses is included as part of the role. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist to develop their skills and help shape Children\'s disability services while supported through senior psychologists.
The psychologist will report to the CDNT manager. Professional clinical supervision will be provided. The ability to manage and prioritize a busy caseload, and work in an inter-disciplinary way using a family centred practice approach are also key requirements of the role.
