I am currently recruiting for a Production Control Coordinator on behalf of a respected manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a team-focused environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about contributing to continuous improvement. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoy supporting production processes in a dynamic setting, this role could be a great fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management and maintenance of the process control system, ensuring it aligns with business goals and quality standards.

  • Assist in managing production scheduling systems to help measure performance and ensure goals are met.

  • Facilitate communication and process improvements across departments, including Engineering Change Orders and Production Change Requests.

  • Help with planning and scheduling tasks, including inputting data for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), forecast entries, and specification changes.

  • Share responsibility for inventory management and reporting alongside the Production Controller.

  • Engage with customers and suppliers, representing the company in global meetings and building strong relationships.

  • Prepare and share accurate data for weekly and monthly updates to keep teams informed.

  • Actively participate in 5S initiatives and steel audits to support operational excellence.

  • Take on a leadership-support role when required, including deputising for the Production Controller during key meetings.

  • Contribute to “clear to build” meetings with design, purchasing, and engineering teams.

  • Assist in Health & Safety administration in collaboration with the Senior HSE Advisor.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced logistics environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work.

  • A creative, solutions-focused mindset that helps resolve issues effectively.

  • A collaborative, team-oriented attitude with enthusiasm for working with others to achieve goals.

  • Comfort and skill with systems and data—accurate entry and interpretation will be second nature to you.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage effectively across teams
