Qualifications

  • 5–8 years’ experience in product management or partner management, preferably in telecom.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L and budgets.
  • Solid technical grounding with knowledge of messaging protocols.

As part of the Wholesale team, this role offers a uniqueopportunity to shape the next generation of messaging and verification servicesin a future-driven, collaborative environment.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially savvy ProductManager to lead Three Ireland’s Wholesale SMS & Verification Servicesportfolio. This role is central to driving the growth of messaging productsincluding A2P SMS, RCS, Premium Rate SMS, Virtual Mobile Numbers, and MobileVerification services.
You will manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, fromstrategy through to technical integration, and oversee the financialperformance of the portfolio. You’ll also play a critical role in partneronboarding, regulatory compliance, and maintaining key commercialrelationships.

What else it involves:

  • PortfolioOwnership: Lead the full product lifecycle – from roadmap definitionto go-to-market – across SMS, RCS, mobile verification, and relatedservices.
  • PartnerManagement: Cultivate and grow strategic partnerships, negotiatingagreements and fostering collaboration to support long-term growth.
  • FinancialAccountability: Own the P&L for the portfolio, manage OPEX andCAPEX budgets, and deliver regular financial reporting and forecasting.
  • ProductLaunch & Onboarding: Drive the onboarding of operator and partnerservices, including commercial negotiations and technical integrations(SMPP, REST APIs).
  • Regulatory& Compliance Oversight: Ensure full compliance with applicableregulations including GDPR, ComReg guidance, and messaging industrystandards (e.g., 10DLC, DLT).
  • Cross-functionalCollaboration: Work closely with internal engineering, commercial, andregulatory teams to deliver seamless product performance.
  • MarketInsight & Innovation: Use market intelligence and competitoranalysis to enhance product features and identify future growthopportunities.

The Skills we are looking for:

  • 5–8years’ experience in product management or partner management, preferablyin the telecom or messaging space.
  • Strongcommercial acumen, with experience managing P&L, budgets, andfinancial forecasting.
  • Solidtechnical grounding, with knowledge of messaging protocols (e.g. SMPP,RCS, REST APIs), telecom infrastructure, and mobile verificationstandards.
  • Provenpartner relationship management, with experience negotiating contracts andmanaging strategic accounts.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influencestakeholders at all levels and simplify complex technical topics.
  • Strategicmindset and a track record of driving growth and innovation within afast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Results-drivenand highly motivated by delivering operational excellence and strongcustomer outcomes.
