The Role
Day‑to‑day at Ekco

The Product Manager plays a key role in defining, developing, and managing products and services across Ekco’s entire portfolio – including Cloud, Cyber Security, Modern Workplace, Data & BI, AI & Automation, and Support Services.

Reporting to the Head of Presales in Ireland, this role is responsible for driving product strategy, market alignment, and delivery execution.

You will work cross-functionally with teams across technology, operations, marketing, sales, and vendor management to ensure each product meets market needs, achieves commercial objectives, and delivers measurable value to customers. This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

What you’ll be responsible for
Product Strategy and Vision
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of product strategies across multiple servicelines.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Translate business objectives into clear product roadmaps and prioritised backlogs.
  • Ensure all products align with Ekco’s broader portfolio strategy and commercial goals.
Portfolio & Product Management
  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle for assigned products – from ideation and definition through launch and continuous improvement.
  • Gather and prioritise requirements from customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and vendors to ensure effective delivery and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the product team on pricing, positioning, and packaging to ensure offerings are competitive and deliver clear value to our customers.
  • Monitor product performance using data‑driven metrics to inform enhancements, retirements or investment decisions.
  • Support the creation and management of product documentation, service descriptions, and pricing models.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs through regular robust customer feedback loops, research, and analysis, translating these insights into actionable product improvements or new features.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all portfolio offerings.
Go‑to‑Market & Sales Enablement
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches, clear messaging, and effective customer communication.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop product training and support, ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to sell effectively.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, including customer adoption, retention, and overall satisfaction.
Collaboration, Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather insights, validate propositions, and inform future direction.
  • Work closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure effective handoff between development, deployment, and ongoing service delivery.
  • Represent the product portfolio in internal forums.
  • Own vendor relationships, where relevant, and ensure that we maximise the value of those relationships.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of product management processes, documentation, and reporting.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in product or portfolio management roles within cloud, cyber security, modern workplace, managed services, or closely related technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions for the SMB and mid‑market segments.
  • Experience managing multiple products or services simultaneously.Demonstrated success delivering innovative product strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of the mid‑market and enterprise MSP landscape, including customer needs, competitors, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and execution skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, and evolving environment.
  • Experience working with Microsoft product suite.
