This is how you can make a difference at Abbott:

As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for the administration of the day to day demand and preventative maintenance system for on-site production equipment. Non-Conformance Assessments for the Operation department ensuring the site delivers safe and effective products that meet customer needs whilst maintaining compliance. This position is based onsite at our Third Party Manufacturing Facility in Fermoy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day demand and preventative maintenance system for on-site production equipment.

  • Conduct Non-Conformance Assessments within the Operations department to ensure compliance and product safety.

  • Monitor production performance on a daily basis, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Uphold adherence to 6S principles in the Operations areas, fostering a productive and safe working environment.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

  • A third-level qualification or trade certificate in an Engineering, Science, or Manufacturing discipline.

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all levels of the organization.
