Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough foot and lower limb assessments
  • Diagnose and treat foot and lower limb conditions
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Perform minor surgical procedures and wound care
  • Prescribe and fit orthotics and other assistive devices
  • Educate patients on foot care, hygiene, and prevention of foot-related issues
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Degree in Podiatry from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure to practice podiatry
  • Proven clinical experience in podiatric medicine
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in performing minor surgical procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach
  • Full driving license and access to own car is desirable
  • Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction
  • All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
  • International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 moths after the age of 16)
