Job description

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Person in Charge/Director of Nursing on behalf of a 40+ bedded nursing home based in North Kerry. This is a full-time, permanent position working a 39-hour week.

Requirements:

• Full NMBI registration as a Registered General Nurse
• A recognized post-registration management qualification (minimum level QQI Level 6)
• At least 3 years’ experience in a nurse management role within the health and social care sector
• Significant senior nurse management experience in a regulated environment providing care to older persons
• Experience in leading and managing strategic and operational change
• Knowledge of national policy relating to older persons and regulation of care services in designated centres
