Job description

Payroll and Accounts Administrator required for a busy wedding venue.

Minimum 5 years experience required.

Key responsibilities
  • Payroll processing: Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and benefits and all tax related payments
  • Data management: Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring data integrity, and process new hires and terminations in our staff management system
  • Compliance and reporting: Ensure all payroll activities comply with Irish tax and social insurance legislation. Prepare and submit reports to Revenue and other relevant authorities.
  • Account reconciliation: Reconcile all general ledger accounts and book journal entries for each payment run, ensuring accuracy for P&L purposes and monthly analysis
  • Auditing and analysis: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports. Conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis for management.
  • Collaboration: Assist with HR operations to ensure smooth and accurate operations, and address all employee queries
  • System management: Manage and maintain payment systems
  • General office administration

  • Microsoft office: Advanced Microsoft office knowledge is essential
  • Organisational skills: The ability to manage deadlines and organize data is essential.

  • Software proficiency: Experience with payroll software Collsoft, employee software Bright HR and accounts software QuickBooks is a distinct advantage, but applicants with similar software experience will be considered
  • Knowledge of Irish legislation: Understanding of current Irish tax and social insurance laws is a key requirement
