Location: The Jungle, Moneymore, Northern Ireland

Position: Permanent – Full-Time – 40+ hours per week

The Role:

As Outdoor Adventure Manager, you’ll oversee, develop, and deliver adventure activities, ensuring a safe, exciting, and unforgettable experience for every visitor. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll lead by example, instruct activities, manage a team, and keep our site running smoothly. We offer a wide range of activities, previous experience in a management role within an outdoor adventure business is essential.

Working Hours:

  • 40 Hours per week (may be adjusted to seasonal requirements)
  • 2-3 weekends out of 4 required
  • Additional extended hours during peak seasonal events (e.g. Oct-Dec)

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee all aspects of our activities & events from training, safe & fun delivery, maintenance & inspection.
  • Plan, organise, and oversee daily outdoor adventure activities.
  • Lead, train and support junior instructors.
  • Directly engage with customers, instructing on occasion, ensuring the customers safety and enjoyment is always prioritised.
  • Uphold the highest safety standards, writing & updating risk assessments and operational guidelines.
  • Assist with event planning and corporate team building experiences.
  • Organise regular staff training & fun staff events and outings
  • Maintain our high level of H&S awareness.
  • Assist with insurance renewals
  • Proactive with cost savings/efficiencies
  • Confidence to suggest new activity ideas
  • Manage Paper Trail logs, cash handling procedures and maintaining a clean & safe site.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ability to understand our legislative requirements & ensure adherence to.
  • Some level of Ropes Access experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience management role within the outdoor activities industry.
  • Strong H&S and risk management understanding, ability to write risk assessments.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team building and activity planning.
  • Access NI/CRB check.
  • Confident, outgoing, and passionate about outdoor adventure.
  • Full driving licence and own transport.
  • Confident verbal and written communication in English, and numeracy skills.
  • Experience in Team Building.
  • Experience in Event Management.
  • Experience in paintball & water sports.
  • PPE Inspection qualification or experience.
  • GNAS archery or firearms experience.
  • Experience working with animals.
  • Glamping accommodation experience.
