We are seeking a dynamic Operational Logistics lead to oversee our logistics operations in Ireland. The role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire logistics operation, including 3rd party warehousing, delivery and installation.
- Implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Monitor and analyse KPIs to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and performance standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Maintain inventory management systems to ensure stock accuracy.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, including cost analysis and operational metrics.
- Utilise data analytics to drive decision-making and optimise logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics, with a strong understanding of supply chain principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in ERP and WMS systems (SAP is desirable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable
