Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Operational Logistics lead to oversee our logistics operations in Ireland. The role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire logistics operation, including 3rd party warehousing, delivery and installation.
  • Implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
  • Monitor and analyse KPIs to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and performance standards.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Maintain inventory management systems to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, including cost analysis and operational metrics.
  • Utilise data analytics to drive decision-making and optimise logistics processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in logistics, with a strong understanding of supply chain principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in ERP and WMS systems (SAP is desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable
