Job description

We are currently partnering exclusively with an advanced Galway start up as they expand their R&D team with three new permanent hires. As part of this expansion, they are hiring an experienced NPI Engineer to support NPI and transfer products from design to manufacturing.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement industry-leading manufacturing processes while meeting quality, time and cost objectives
  • Manage procurement, installation, calibration and maintenance of equipment
  • Generate manufacturing inputs and outputs such as bills of materials and assembly procedures
  • Create and execute prototypes, test methods and product verification
  • Lead communications with key customers, suppliers and cross-functional project teams to deliver differentiated solutions for the market.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years experience in medical device manufacturing essential
  • Experience in new product introduction and transferring products from design to production is essential

Competencies

  • Proficient in production management and Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent organisation, teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and motivation to learn
