Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a MES Engineer to maintain and support the MES (POMSnet) system for a Biologics Leader in the West of Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering or equivalent, along with 2+ years of experience in MES authoring, particularly POMSnet. This role involves building MES recipes, training users, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience authoring in MES, ideally POMSnet.
• Experience in FDA/HPRA-regulated batch manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of pharma regulations.

Overview of your responsibilities

Excellent opportunity for an MES Engineer to join a Biologics Leader in the West of Ireland. Maintain and support the MES (POMSnet) system by managing recipes and worksheets for the site, while troubleshooting and resolving MES and SAP issues related to recipe execution and authoring.

• Build and update MES recipes, specs, and process logic


• Execute validations, risk assessments, and documentation


• Align procedures with MES workflows


• Train users and manage MES access


• Support MES governance and resolve system issues

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role

• Degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or equivalent experience


• 2+ years’ experience authoring in MES (ideally POMSnet)


• Strong understanding of MES configuration and interfaces


• Experience in FDA/HPRA-regulated batch manufacturing


• Solid knowledge of cGMP and pharma regulations


• Proficient in IT systems; SAP (MM, PP, IM) a plus
