Job description

The Hyatt Centric is delighted to invite applicants for the position ofMeeting & Events Co-Ordinator to support our growing Reservation & Events team. The ideal candidate will be required to actively and passionately convert customer enquiries into confirmed bookings and ensure events are perfectly delivered.

This is Ireland’s first Hyatt Hotel. Adjacent to St Patrick’s Cathedral, this 234-bedroom, 4-star property will include a restaurant, bar, meeting and event facilities, and a fitness centre. Working within the highly respected Hodson Bay Group, and with the impressive support of the Hyatt Partnership, explore this exciting journey with us in introducing and establishing the Hyatt Centric, The Liberties Dublin, as a leading hotel in the capital.

What will I be doing?

  • Managing BEOs and assisting with all small & medium meetings and events sales enquiries, meet and greet with clients, and supporting the full sales & event team in an administrative capacity.
  • Receiving and converting incoming enquiries.
  • Ensuring the complete administration and execution of all planned events.

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • Confident telephone manner

It would be advantageous (but not required) for you to have the following:

  • Previous experience in the same or similar role at a hotel or events venue
  • Degree in Hospitality / Event Management (optional) or recent graduate
