Job description

• Using SolidWorks to design bespoke equipment for the Material Handling Industry.
• Create Bills Of Materials and Use and ERP system to support factory operations.
• Producing precise engineering and manufacturing drawings.
• Test Material Handling equipment to meet relevant industry standards.
• Ensure all designs and documentation meet relevant ISO standards and comply with company’s internal procedures.
• Assisting with Engineering R&D Projects.
• Providing support to the Sales Team to find solutions to complex engineering and material handling issues.
• Assisting the quality department to implement quality controls and to analyse and solve any quality issue which may arise.
• Providing support to the manufacturing teams, including purchasing, production, quality, electrical & control systems.
• Liase with customers/dealers directly to provide a solution to suit their needs.
• Project any new designs through from Order until Delivery.
• Update Manuals for each specific model.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Engineering is essential.
• 2-3 Years experience in a similar Engineering role.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of ERP Systems is desirable
• Good problem-solving skills and an ability to generate practical solutions as part of a highly motivated engineering team.
• Be proficient in the use of 3D SolidWorks or similar
• Ability to work both, as an individually and as part of a team is essential.
• Must be a quick learner and have a willingness to learn new skills.
