Job description

Cairn is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives aimed at strengthening our relationships with key partners. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering commercial marketing strategies, on-site activation plans, executing high-level stakeholder events and collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement marketing support programs.

Objectives of this role
  • Work closely with construction team, business development team and partners to ensure on-site activation is reflective of the partnership agreements
  • Develop and implement on-site marketing strategies in line with contractual obligations
  • Event Management: Plan and execute senior stakeholder events, topping-out ceremonies, and industry sponsorships to reinforce relationships and brand positioning.
  • Commercial Sales Support: Work closely with the Business Development team to craft and deploy a marketing strategies aligned with Cairn’s commercial objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and strengthen counterparty relationships with key partners, ensuring Cairn meets contractual obligations while identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Community Building: Develop innovative community-building initiatives with partners, fostering engagement and enhancing Cairn’s value beyond transactions.
  • Collateral Development: Work with the Partnerships and Investments teams to ensure all marketing materials meet Cairn’s standards and effectively support business objectives.
  • Strategic Contribution: Play a role in shaping Cairn’s overall marketing strategy, providing expertise and insights as a senior member of the marketing team.
  • Budget Management: Oversee marketing budgets for assigned projects, ensuring effective allocation and financial oversight.
  • Agency management: Work with Cairn’s roster of marketing agencies to develop close working relationships that enhance the deliver of best in class work
Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing, preferably within the construction industry or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in stakeholder management, with a proven ability to navigate relationships with senior executives and industry partners.
  • Experience in event planning and execution, particularly high-profile industry events.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency in budget management, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
