The Junior Digital Marketing Executive is an important role in our group central marketing function, with responsibility for supporting the execution of the day-to-day digital marketing activities for a cluster of our unique and market-leading hotels in the West of Ireland.

This role is based in Galway

MHL Hotel Collection is a collection of unique and individual hotels in key city and resort locations throughout Ireland. From the bustling city centres of Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Belfast, to picturesque and historic estates close to Wicklow and Galway City, each of our hotels has its own distinct personality and charm.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

• Assist with the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
• Maintenance and monitoring of hotel websites.
• Content creation, updating and editing of websites while considering SEO and Google Analytics.
• Monitoring of booking engine content, promotions and special offers.
• Completion of monthly website audits.
• Working with external web development companies on new recommendations and features.
• Review and audit content on 3rd party websites and OTAs; ensure that the content is appropriate and adheres to brand standards.
• Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using web analytics.
• Creating and reviewing of digital assets.
• Attending monthly website calls if necessary.
• Research and compile data on competitors, customers and key market trends.
• Assisting with the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns.

Teamwork & Admin

• Work with the digital marketing team and individual hotel management teams to ensure clear communication, timely completion of the tasks and help deliver the overall marketing plan.
• Daily completion of the task tracker system.
• General administration tasks for the digital marketing team.

Role Requirements

• Track record in marketing success, target and results driven.
• Hotel experience is preferable.
