IT Project Engineer - Kerry (hybrid work option available)

An opportunity is now available for an IT Project Engineer to support our operations, networks, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in IT infrastructure.

You will play a key role in maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting IT and OT environments, working closely with operations and engineering teams.

Qualified with a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, IT, or a related technical field with a minimum 2+ years in a relevant role with GMP industry experience highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands‑on support for server, PC, and network hardware in a regulated (GMP) environment.
  • Manage network hardware configuration, including switches, routers, and Ethernet networks.
  • Support and troubleshoot network cabling systems and distributed control systems/PLCs.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and support for Windows operating systems (XP, Win7, Server 2003/2008).
  • Manage Windows Active Directory and DNS setup and support.
  • Maintain server and PC architectures, including upgrades and performance optimization.
  • Participate in cybersecurity initiatives and cloud infrastructure support to enhance system security and reliability.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality teams to implement IT projects, upgrades, and new system deployments.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support across network, server, OS, and PC platforms.
  • Ensure all systems and changes are documented in compliance with pharmaceutical industry requirements.
