Job summary

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes like Incident, Service request & Change management.

Role Summary

The IAM Development Engineer is responsible for customizing and extending the NetIQ Identity Manager IDM solution to meet evolving business and security requirements. This includes developing workflows, policies, drivers (connectors), and automation scripts for provisioning, deprovisioning, and access governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain custom workflows, policies, and integration of drivers within NetIQ IDM.
  • Customize role-based access control and approval workflows.
  • Integrate IDM with target systems (AD, SAP, databases, applications).
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and administration roles for deployment and testing.
  • Provide input into IAM architecture and process design.
  • Conduct code reviews, version control, and documentation.
  • Support operational activities based on need (user admin, reviews, reporting, 3rd line)
  • Help resolve events & incidents related to IAM landscape
Requirements
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in IDM/IAM development (NetIQ preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of directory services (LDAP, AD), REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with Identity Governance concepts and automation tools.
  • Experience with development in Form.io
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
  • Certifications: NetIQ Identity Manager Business Administrator (preferred), CIAM, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes like Incident, Service request & Change management
