Griffdon Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who can support employees working across Ireland and throughout Europe. You will be responsible for managing HR operations, handling payroll queries, and ensuring strong compliance across the European countries in which we operate. Knowledge of the construction industry — particularly the electrical sector — is essential.

  • Manage weekly and monthly payroll queries from employees working across Ireland and Europe
  • Oversee all HR functions, including onboarding, contracts, employee relations, and liaising with our external compliance partners.
  • Maintain HR systems, employee records, and ensure GDPR compliance
  • Support project teams with workforce planning and HR needs
  • Coordinate training, certifications, and construction-industry requirements
  • Liaise with site managers, electricians, and engineering teams across multiple locations
  • Lead continuous improvement in HR processes and policies
