The role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented student worker to join our Total Rewards & HR Data Team which is part of a larger People Team at COP. The role will support ongoing data management, reporting, and analysis activities, helping ensure data quality, insights, and process efficiency. This position is ideal for a student interested in data analytics, strategic business decision making, and HR processes who wants to gain hands-on experience with real-world datasets and contribute to impactful decision-making in a fast changing and complex environment.

Your responsibilities
  • Maintain and update HR and organizational datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform regular data quality checks, maintain data access rights that are aligned with data security protection.
  • Build and maintain dashboards (e.g., Power BI/Excel) to deliver insights to stakeholders.
  • Prepare recurring reports and support ad-hoc analyses with clear visualizations.
  • Contribute to data-driven projects such as benchmarking, surveys, and workforce analytics.
  • Support operational processes such as salary review, short-term incentive cycle, and onboarding/offboarding.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Business teams to meet data and reporting needs.
Your experience
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Business, Data Science, Economics, Data Analytics, HR, or related).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with good knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other dashboard tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly and work in a structured, proactive manner.
