A leading construction firm in Ireland seeks a Head of Public Affairs & Insights for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will support business growth through market intelligence and public policy engagement. The role requires extensive knowledge of the Irish political landscape and construction sector, with key responsibilities including reporting on public policy developments and fostering stakeholder relationships.
We are looking for a Head of Public Affairs & Insights to join our team in Ireland on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role will support business growth through market intelligence, public policy engagement, and stakeholder influence in the Irish market. Experience and knowledge of Irish public affairs and political landscape is essential; construction sector knowledge and regulatory monitoring experience is also desirable. Key skills required include an ability to engage stakeholders at national level in the public and private sectors, experience in strategic communication and public policy interpretation, and the ability to translate complex trends into actionable insights.
A curious, self-starter, who is articulate and able to make the complex easily understood. Acting as a disciplined and focused ambassador for BAM, the successful candidate will build BAM’s reputation with significant decision-makers and identify market trends that align with our strategy to create real client value.

The role will primarily be based in Kildare with regular travel across Ireland and occasional travel to the UK. As the role entails engagement with political stakeholders and coordination of corporate events, a modest degree of flexibility and out-of-hours working is anticipated.
