Join a growing insurance firm on a mission to transform the Irish insurance market. With 60+ employees already on board and two new brokerages recently launched, the business is now searching for a Head of IT to help shape and lead the development of a cutting-edge insurance product – a first of its kind in Ireland.

This is more than just a senior IT role – it’s a strategic leadership position designed for someone who understands the nuances of insurance and is eager to drive innovation from the front. You’ll be at the helm of a growing IT team, guiding their efforts, providing mentorship, and ensuring ownership over the insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the internal IT function with full ownership across strategy, operations, and development.
• Technical Ownership for Applications/ Applied Systems
• Lead the migration of insurance applications to the cloud
• Mentor and manage a team of developers and IT professionals.
• Drive innovation and support the launch of a new insurance product in the Irish market.
• Oversee data governance, IT compliance, scalability, and infrastructure planning.
• Collaborate with C-suite leadership, reporting directly to the CTO/ CFO.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology roadmaps.

Salary:

€90000 – €100000
