As Global Payroll Manager, you will lead global payroll operations across all jurisdictions, managing a combination of in-house and outsourced delivery models. You will oversee all payroll systems, processes, and technologies, ensuring best-practice execution and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Responsibilities
Payroll Operations & Team Management
  • Oversee weekly and monthly payrolls across multiple countries.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop payroll team members to achieve operational excellence.
  • Manage and coordinate with external payroll providers globally.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure payroll processes comply with local tax laws, employment regulations, and social security requirements.
  • Manage audits and maintain accurate documentation for regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor global legislative changes and update processes accordingly.
  • Implement and maintain global payroll systems (e.g., SAP, HRCloud, BrightPay, T&A).
  • Integrate payroll systems with HRIS and finance platforms.
  • Drive automation and process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare payroll reports for finance, HR, and leadership teams.
  • Analyse payroll data for trends, cost control, and compliance (in partnership with FP&A).
  • Support budgeting and forecasting related to payroll expenses.
Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams globally.
  • Act as the main point of contact for payroll queries and escalations.
  • Manage vendor contracts and monitor performance.
Employee Experience
  • Ensure employees receive accurate and timely pay.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Communicate clearly about payroll policies and changes.
Skills and Requirements
  • 15+ years in payroll/hr roles within complex multi-entity payrolls.
  • Experience with multiple payroll cycles eg Weekly/Monthly and varied pay elements such as overtime and subsistence.
  • Proven experience in people management and leadership.
