We have a number of vacancies for General Operatives (Casual work) in the Chilled Foods Plant, Thomas St, Kilkenny City also known as Kilkenny Food Company.

Role Profile:

Due to the seasonality of our Product & Business, the vacancies on offer are 3 month fixed term contracts of employment working 40 hours per week on a shift basis covering days, evening and nights. These contracts will be from December2025 to March 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with food safety standards to ensure CCP are completed and adhered to in each work location.
• Conform with Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure good plant hygiene standards are maintained in the area you are working.
• Ensure all CIP are completed.
• Documentation control where applicable.
• Keep pace with production flow and contribute consistently to the team output.

Key Requirements:

• The ability to work as part of a team.
• Good inter‑personal and communication skills.
• Experience working in a factory or food environment will be advantageous.
• Manual Handling and forklift certification desirable
