Job summary

A finance recruitment agency is looking for a Fund Accountant to join a rapidly growing Fund Manager in Dublin. You will be responsible for preparing monthly valuations and year-end statements while managing audits and reporting. Candidates should have 2-3 years of fund accounting experience, preferably with private equity funds. A strong knowledge of accounting practices and tools like Investran is advantageous. This is a full-time role in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a Fund Accounting role.
• Preferred experience with Private Equity funds.
• Interest in obtaining accountancy qualification.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of monthly net asset valuations.
• Preparation of year-end and semi-annual financial statements.
• Investment reporting and dealing with external stakeholders.
• Preparation of legal, tax and regulatory returns.
• Manage year-end audit.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of monthly net asset valuations
• Preparation of year-end and semi-annual financial statements
• Investment reporting and dealing with investment manager, custodian, auditors and regulators
• Shareholder services (issuing notices, monthly statements etc)
• Preparation of legal, tax and regulatory returns
• Maintain and enhance ISAE 3402
• Manage year end audit

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a Fund Accounting role essential (2-3 years)
• Experience with Private Equity fund a distinct advantage
• Investran experience preferable
• Accountancy qualification (part-qualified or interested in undertaking this qualification)
• Computer literate and competent with strong MS Word and Excel
