Overview

Avoca is seeking a passionate and commercially driven Food & Beverage Manager to lead the F&B operation within our Kilmacanogue store.   • Previous experience in the same or similar role within a F&B environment.

  • Team player and able to work proactively, lead the team from the front and be customer facing.
  • Ability to work under pressure and under your own initiative.
  • Experience of managing or supervising a team / multi teams.
  • Creative and innovative approach.
Key Responsibilities
  • Put the customer first, ensuring the guest experience is at the forefront.
  • Take accountability for all F&B operations, including the restaurant, cafe and events.
  • Identify and act upon opportunities to grow revenue and reduce costs within the F&B department.
  • Utilise personnel between all F&B outlets to minimise payroll expenditure and ensure flexibility of the team and optimise staff stability.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the F&B outlets.
  • Ensure compliance regarding food hygiene, licensing laws, health and safety and food and beverage systems in line with the company Food Policy & current legislation.
  • Deal with customer feedback, ensuring effective outcomes and development of the F&B operation.
  • Be fully accountable for all team members within the F&B department in terms of recruitment and performance management.
  • Develop and train new and existing staff on standards and procedures, to ensure all staff are fully trained to be the best they can.
