A leading leisure organization in Ireland is seeking a Financial Accountant to provide support in technical accounting, preparation of financial statements, and VAT returns. The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified and possess a strong understanding of UK VAT. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, supporting audits, and collaborating within a team. This is an exciting opportunity to join us as Financial Accountant. You will provide support to the Group Tax and Financial Accountant in respect of technical accounting, the preparation of statutory financial statements, cashflow budgeting and forecasting, preparing and reviewing controls.
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified, working towards or equivalent with a broad understanding of UK VAT.
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm. Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based and home-working.
