Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in telecommunications civils.
  • Strong knowledge in FTTX networks with MDU build being a plus.
  • High standard of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations for field teams.
  • Coordinate field team for maximum efficiency.
  • Train and mentor team members as required.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ and ISO standards.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly team output.

Based in our Dublin branch & working closely with the Contract & Project Managers you will manage directly and indirectly, field teams including supervisors, sub-contractors, field surveyors, liaison officers, build & splicing & test teams. Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for overseeing a range of day-to-day operations, covering both in-house staff and contractors in the field
  • Meticulously coordinating the field team to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Work closely with the supervisors & the QC team to ensure that field staff and sub-contractors are closing out work to an acceptable standard.
  • Ensure links between assigned work type disciplines are flowing smoothy.
  • Effectively - training, communicating, mentoring, managing & motivating your team, ensure teams go through training programmes as required.
  • Issue scheduled reports to clients and Entegro senior management.
  • Ensure that sites align to the programme agreed with the client and Entegro.
  • Ensure that field staff and sub-contractors are aware of the projects contents and requirements prior to works commencing.
  • Ensure stores management system is in place and consistently efficient.
  • Ensure systems are used correctly in field
  • Conduct/ Review reports and site audits, as confirmation that Entegro's HSEQ and ISO standards are being adhered to. Work with HSEQ team
  • Track and manage daily, weekly and monthly output as requested by the operations manager.
  • Assist with the hire of new staff as required
  • Drive continuous improvement relative to the role.
Skills required

What You’ll Need:

Essential
  • 2+ years in a similar position
  • Skilled in FTTX networks, both survey & build knowledge of MDU build is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in telecoms civils.
  • Previous experience of managing field-based teams and sub-contractors.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work challenges and open to learn and develop skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work to a high standard
  • A high standard of written and spoken English
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Full drivers licence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
