Job description

To support growth and expansion we are currently recruiting a full-time Facilities Manager to join team for a manufactory environment in Kikenny.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday from 8:00-16:30/ Hybrid

Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Provide strong leadership and build a positive team culture
  • Manage people day-to-day with regular feedback and resource planning
  • Troubleshoot and maintain equipment and plant utilities to high standards
  • Implement strategic engineering goals, KPIs and objectives
  • Oversee Buildings, Plant Equipment, Hard Services & Hard Services
  • Attend tier meetings, own facilities actions and close them on time
  • Resolve technical issues promptly to support operations
  • Oversee site procedures, non-conformances and corrective actions
  • Review work orders and carry out preventative maintenance
  • Project manage, coordinate, and supervise third-party contractors
  • Manage shift patterns, holiday cover and overtime
  • Conduct performance reviews and support continuous improvement
  • Keep clients informed and uphold excellent customer service
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Third level engineering qualification or senior trades background with experience
  • Experience in tendering for services and project/contract management.
  • 3-5 years' experience in similar role
  • Previous experience in maintenance or facilities within a regulated environment
  • Strong financial, systems and process understanding
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and customer service focus
