European Business Unit Manager – Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) | Labour Services

Location: Europe (Regular EU travel)
Reports to: Group Managing Director / Operations Director

About ICDS Group

ICDS is a leading provider of skilled labour and managed services to major construction and engineering contractors and projects across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe. Construction sectors include data centre, pharma, medical, metro, and complex civil engineering and power generation.

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced European Business Unit Manager to lead and grow our Mechanical & Electrical Labour Services business across Europe. This senior role will drive commercial growth, operational excellence, and client satisfaction while managing multi-country operations and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business growth through new client acquisition and long-term partnerships with Tier 1 contractors.
  • Oversee day-to-day delivery, logistics, and workforce planning across EU sites.
  • Ensure compliance with EU employment law, safety standards, and ICDS policies.
  • Manage budgets, profitability, and performance of the business unit.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing regional operations team.
About You
  • 7–10+ years’ experience in M&E labour supply, recruitment, or site management.
  • Proven leadership in managing multi-country or regional operations.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of EU labour markets and cross-border employment.
  • Degree or trade background in Mechanical/Electrical/Construction desirable.
