Team/Role Overview

This role will focus on the strategic forward thinking, development and commercialization of our Instant Payments solutions in UK and Europe, bringing together the synergies of industry developments, regulations, infrastructure and client needs to build best in class payments solutions.

This role will be part of the UK and Europe Domestic Payments Cluster team, reporting to the UK and Europe Cluster Head.

What you’ll do

• Own the strategy of Instant payments for UK and Europe, working with the countries, subclusters and global teams to continue to build on our existing solution to continue to create a winning proposition.


• Own the development book of work for UK and Europe - including requirements, development, execution and commercialization of Instant payments in the relevant markets.


• Own and drive PNL growth – proactively understanding market landscape and clients needs and working with partners across the organization on commercial activities, pipeline origination and conversion.


• Develop and evolve the Instant Payments commercial strategy for existing and new capabilities – including pricing strategy.


• Management of best in class Risk and Controls for Instant Payments across our clusters.

What we’ll need from you

• Significant Product Management experience.


• Knowledge of the UK and Europe financial services industry.


• Knowledge and Experience working with domestic and instant payments.


• Strategic mindset that closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business.


• Experience in partnership management, business development, and strategic planning.


• Experience in product development and strategic thinking.


• Experience in commercialization – including leading client discussions and develop internal and external materials including presentations for senior leadership.


• Ability to apply sound judgement to complex decision making - based on sophisticated analytical thinking.


• Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure, prioritizing against tight timelines.
