Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Execute various tasks while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
  • Work both independently and as part of a project team, adapting to changing conditions.
  • Lead a team in coordinating the preparation of regulatory reports and permit applications.
  • Interface with client personnel at both the corporate and facility levels.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure quality deliverables are completed on time.
  • Apply knowledge and skills to address a variety of standard and non-standard situations.
  • Follow established processes while being flexible enough to identify and adapt to new or changing scenarios and develop processes for new activities.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior staff members.
  • Salary range: $70K to $75K annually.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a core science (such as geology, chemistry, physics, or biology), engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior experience or training in environmental compliance, including federal and state environmental regulations.
  • Experience with hazardous waste compliance is required; national experience with regulatory reporting is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint Online, etc., and the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Willingness to work in the field and travel as necessary to complete tasks.
