About the Role:

We are currently seeking a hands‑on and customer‑focused Engineer / Repair Technician to join our team. This is a field‑based role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving mechanical issues, and providing exceptional support to both customers and retail partners. You’ll be representing the Clipex brand on the road, performing repairs, maintenance, and technical support for our fencing systems and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visiting customer sites and retail stores to carry out diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on Clipex fencing equipment
  • Providing on‑site technical support and training to customers on safe and efficient product usage
  • Assisting with installation and setup of machinery and fencing solutions
  • Identifying and reporting recurring product issues or areas for improvement
  • Maintaining accurate service records and submitting job reports in a timely manner
  • Managing stock levels of parts and tools in your service vehicle
  • Working closely with the customer service and sales teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Representing the Clipex brand professionally and positively at all times
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in mechanical servicing, maintenance, or engineering (agricultural or fencing machinery experience is highly desirable)
  • Strong mechanical and problem‑solving skills
  • Full, clean driver’s licence (essential)
  • Comfortable with regular travel and working independently in the field
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to read technical manuals and interpret schematics
  • Basic IT skills for reporting and record‑keeping
  • Strong work ethic, self‑motivation, and a safety‑first mindset
