Ryanair are currently recruiting for anEngine Shop Engineerto join Europe’s Largest Airline Group.

This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests within the next 10 years.

Reporting to the Head of Engine MRO, the Engine Shop Engineer will support directly in establishing and leading the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul facility for CFM56 and LEAP engines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Identification of all process flows to maximize efficiency driving industry leading TAT
  • Assist in Identification of all tooling and equipment required to support the facilities operations including Engine Test Cell
  • Assist in development of operational procedures and control standards for the facility ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and safety standards.
  • Identify all training and recruitment needs of staff and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure all staffing requirements are delivered
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
  • Support the development and management of the project budget
  • Support identification of key risk areas and risk mitigations solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul, with specific experience on CFM56 and LEAP engines.
