We are currently seeking a Cloud Development Engineer to join our Platform Development team,where you willwork with a highly skilled and friendly team todevelop our state-of-the-art,real-time cloud telematics service.

The Cloud Development Engineer will be responsible for the following:

Contributing to the architecture and design of CameraMatics’ AWS cloud infrastructure as it evolves, with key focus on scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.

Developing new features and improving the existing functionality of our cloud infrastructure.

Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for deployment ofprojects and services into cloud environments.

Ensuring the successful operation of our cloud infrastructure, including the creation and monitoring of dashboards and alerts, and setting service KPIs

Skills Required:

• Experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience utilizing serverless cloud computing methodologies and services, such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS
• Python Development Experience
• Experience writing tests for code/applications
• Experience with GitHub and code management
• Experience of agile methodologies using JIRA

Skills Desired:

• AWS certifications
• Experience with large scale real-time data streaming using cloud technologies
• Experience with AWS IoT related services
• Experience deploying cloud applications using AWS Developer Services (Code Pipeline, CodeBuild, CloudFormation)
