We are a growing, fast paced company looking for the right individual to help us continue to expand our E-Commerce presence. The E-Commerce Order Fulfilment Associate supports the online operations of our bookshop by ensuring every order is packed, shipped, and delivered with accuracy and care. This role plays a key part in maintaining our shop’s reputation for excellent service ensuring that customers receive their books quickly and in perfect condition. You’ll manage online orders, track inventory, and assist in creating a smooth connection between our online and in-store experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Process online book orders through our ecommerce platform with the use of an RF scanner.
• Pick, inspect, and carefully pack books and other merchandise for shipment.
• Print shipping labels and ensure timely dispatch via carriers.
• Maintain organised shelves and up-to-date online inventory.
• Communicate with customers or staff regarding backorders, special requests, or shipping issues.
• Monitor order tracking and proactively resolve any delivery delays or errors.
• Communicate with management about product restocks and updating product listings, descriptions, or inventory counts online.
• Support seasonal sales, pre-orders, and signed edition releases.
• Collaborate with the retail team to coordinate in-store pickups or local deliveries.
• Maintain a tidy and efficient fulfilment workspace.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in ecommerce, retail, or warehouse fulfil (bookstore experience a plus).
• Strong attention to detail - especially when handling book editions, ISBNs, and order accuracy.
• Comfortable using ecommerce systems and shipping tools.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude and passion for books and readers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Shopify, WaveOMS and Booksolve.
• Knowledge of basic inventory management principles.
• Interest in literature, publishing, or independent book retail.
• Experience with sustainable or gift packaging practices.
