Job description

TTM Healthcare are recruiting a Domestic Violence Services Manager that will be based in Co. Mayo.

Organisation: Domestic, Sexual, Gender & Sexuality-Based Violence (DSGSBV) Services

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive, 21st-century service supporting survivors of coercive control and domestic, sexual, gender, and sexuality-based violence (DSGSBV).

Our DSGSBV Centre in County Mayo offers a range of essential services including a 24/7 helpline, refuge accommodation, centre-based supports, community outreach, and a dedicated children's service.

The ideal candidate will come from a social care background and possess a strong passion for advancing the growth and impact of the organisation. Reporting to and working closely with the Services and Development Practice Manager, this role demands a highly motivated individual who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of women and children affected by violence and abuse.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in motivating and leading staff teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and demonstrable management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of domestic violence and related issues.
  • Experience working within gender equality, domestic violence services, or related sectors.
  • A track record of successful networking and relationship-building with key stakeholders and agencies.
  • Experience in service development and delivery.

It is a permanent contract working 35 hours per week.

Salary Scale – HSE Social Care Manager 3 - €66077 tp €75610

Number of in/direct reports: 15

Essential Requirements:

  • A Third Level Qualification: social care, housing or management or related discipline, at minimum level 8 on the National Framework for Qualifications.
  • 5 years’ experience leading and managing multi-disciplinary frontline service delivery teams, including residential service delivery.
  • Demonstrable achievements at senior management level including the management of residential/refuge /emergency accommodation facilities, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
  • An advanced and demonstrable understanding of Sexual, Domestic, Gender & Sexuality Based Violence and appropriate, current practitioner responses.

Other requirements:

  • Work flexibly as required, with occasional out-of-hours work and travel.
  • Full driving license with access to a vehicle.
  • Available to participate in the On-Call Rota.
