Director of Engineering – Remote

Lead a rapidly growing Software Engineering function in a growing organisation. This technology-focused organisation are leveraging strong technical and business expertise to ensure complex solutions will enable their innovative objectives. In this Director of Engineering role, you will collaborate with IT and Business Leads in order to develop a strategy and road map for the business moving forward.

Reporting to the CTO, you will be effectively leading the engineering division and practice. With the department at a headcount of twenty and growing, you will be responsible for all matters related to the Engineering Department, including Budgets, recruiting talent and dealing with Senior Executives.

This will ideally suit an individual who has strong leadership capabilities and likes to advance within a fast-paced environment. Innovation and creativity are welcomed to improve processes, engineering capabilities, and advance the business in global optimisation.

This will ideally suit a leader from a technology-focused background. Engineering knowledge within a high-performing and scalable organisation that is comfortable in dealing with challenges and supporting an agile mode of operations.

Experience:

• Lead a department of engineers and senior management.
• Deal with large volumes of data.
• Technical background in Software Engineering and object-oriented programming in a language such as Java, C# or C++.
• Experience with Cloud Technologies would be an advantage.
• Experience with advanced analytics and large data sets.

**This position requires a Stamp 4 Visa or an EU Passport**
