My client is actively looking for a Data Scientist for a full time permanent role based in their offices in Dublin, this role offers Hybrid remote working and a highly competitive package

Our high-profile client based in Dublin is actively seeking an experienced Data Scientist with an appetite to apply cutting edge data science techniques.

This is an exciting opportunity for any data scientist to collaborate with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and has an innovative mindset when designing and building great solutions.

Role and responsibilities:

• Create and work with large datasets to extract value and insights
• Use statistical and data science techniques to explore data, identify patterns and trends and make recommendations to help with business decision-making
• Process, join and analyse data sources to create features which feed into analytical and machine learning pipelines
• Build, deploy and maintain predictive models and data science solutions
• Manage, monitor and recalibrate models deployed to production
• Optimise and automate workflows to scale existing processes
• Collaborate with various teams to understand their data needs and help them make informed decisions based on data insights
• Create dashboards to visualise insights for stakeholders
• Research and implement new techniques in data science & artificial intelligence to make analytical solutions more impactful, scalable and accurate

Experience required

• Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science
• Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning and data science principles
• Experience in designing, building and deploying machine learning and forecasting models
• Proven experience in Python and SQL
• Familiarity with reporting and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Cognos)
• Experience using a version control system (e.g. Git)
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus
• Excellent project management skills, including communication and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
