A leading legal solutions provider in Dublin is seeking a Data Privacy Consultant for a 6-month project with a large international tech company. The role requires over 5 years of experience in data protection and privacy compliance. Johnson Hana is seeking a Data Privacy Consultant for an upcoming project with a large international tech company. This project will be 6 months in length. This project is on a contract basis, and is offering full time hours and will be hybrid 2/3 days in office in their Dublin location.

Key Skills & experience
  • Support the privacy accountability documentation workstream, particularly LIAs and DPIAs.
  • Work alongside the privacy engineering team and privacy legal lead to establish structure and processes for privacy control operating procedures.
  • Reorganise and reformat the existing framework, which is currently managed manually through shared documents.
  • Assess and interpret judgement calls within DPIAs, identifying what is present and what may be missing.
  • Experience in operational processes, including documentation organisation, scheduling internal meetings, and driving continuous improvements.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in data protection, privacy compliance, or related fields (5 years plus)
  • Strong understanding of privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) is a plus.
