Job summary

A fast-growing analytics company is seeking a Data Architect III to establish data architecture principles and manage the data models for data lakes and marts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and at least five years of progressively responsible experience, including two years with Azure and similar tools. This role requires travel to various U.S. locations, ensuring data integrity while modernizing the data platform.

Job Title: Data Architect III

Responsibilities:

• Establish Data Architecture principles. Develop and maintain the Conceptual Architecture and Data Models for Data Lake and Data Marts.
• Understand client data requirements and translate them into plans for data platform modernization.
• Extract and transform data from systems using automated tools, ensuring data integrity.
• Migrate extracted data to new systems, optimize storage, and ensure security.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure system functionality and resolve bugs.
• Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations in the U.S. required.
• Work with Azure, Python, Snowflake, SQL Scripting, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with five (5) years of progressively responsible experience.
• At least two (2) years of the five (5) years must include experience with Azure, Python, Snowflake, SQL Scripting, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau.
• Travel and/or relocation to various U.S. locations required.
