We are looking for a Cybersecurity AppSec (Application Security) Consultant to join our team for a multinational leader in the technology sector.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive DevSecOps strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Design and implement secure application and infrastructure architectures.
• Develop and deploy advanced security automation solutions.
• Establish key security metrics and produce executive-level reports.
• Conduct secure code reviews and application security assessments.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and risk management teams to ensure security integration across the SDLC.
• Perform threat modeling exercises to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and improve tools and documentation for security assessments.
• Produce security assessment reports with clear remediation guidance.
• Present results and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing within the AppSec team.
• Support compliance initiatives, audits, and security playbooks.
• Proven experience performing secure code reviews.
• Experience with application security tools: SAST, SCA, DAST, container security, and policy as code.
• Experience designing and implementing security standards and procedures.
• Project and team coordination experience.
• Experience with GitHub Security Advisories, GitHub Actions, YAML pipelines.
• Knowledge of OWASP ASVS.
• Proficiency with vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Nessus, Tenable, Rapid7).
• Experience with ticketing systems, incident response, and security playbooks.

Qualifications

• Experience with secure coding practices and performing secure code reviews.
• Experience with application security tools and vulnerability management.
• Ability to integrate security into the SDLC and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and reporting skills for executive audiences.
• Project and team coordination capabilities.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, governance, risk, and compliance concepts.
